Olivier Beal from Lyon to Kigali … a passionate course.
Born in Lyon, the world capital of gastronomy, Olivier completes his cooking studies at the Lycée Rabelais in 1987 with honors.
Globe-trotter at heart, it is from twenty years that Olivier discovers the world through the French West Indies. It was there that he became a trainer in Pointe à Pitre.
Return to Lyon for a few years before discovering the good Swiss restaurants and setting up as a caterer in Neuchâtel (weddings, banquets, seminars and corporate meals).
Called by his appetite for discovery, Olivier will set foot on the African continent in Libreville (Gabon) to lead the kitchen brigade. This is the consecration the day Olivier will be in charge of the Palace of the Presidency of Libreville for His Excellency Ali Bongo.
It was in 2010 that Olivier stepped on Rwandan lands to lead the kitchens of the excellent Hotel “Lemingo” in Kigali.
Since 2013, Olivier runs his own establishment with brilliance and inventiveness.
