Our first room is based on a fictional anti-poaching theme. The notorious Swahili Coast Syndicate is trafficking ivory across the region. Top of Interpol’s most wanted list for environmental crime, it is rumoured the gang likes to hang out in a backroom of a local bar. An informant has just tipped you off about its whereabouts. Do you dare enter the poachers’ lair?
The room can accommodate up to 6 players at a time, but even two clever people can complete the room in time. The ideal group size is 4. Your group is always guaranteed a private session.
We recommend the game for ages 15 and above. There is no offensive or unsuitable content but the puzzles assume an adult’s cognitive ability. Families with children ten years and older have successfully completed the adventure. Groups with participants younger than 15 years of age are advised to have at least two adults present in the group. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the room.
Each Adventure Room is a one-time experience. Once you’ve played it, you’ll know the puzzles so it won’t be as exciting anymore. However, we’re very keen to open new rooms in the future. If you’d like that to happen, make sure to tell all your friends to come play the current one!
You must be on time in order not to risk losing your slot! When you arrive you will first receive a briefing to the game. You will then have 60 minutes to complete the room. The whole experience can last up to 80 minutes.
No. The experience is challenging, immersive and exciting, but not scary in any way. Nobody is forced to do anything they don’t want to, and you can always leave the room if you feel uncomfortable (which has never happened yet).
No. In the dry season, the room can get a bit warm. You do need to be able to read things, so if you use reading glasses you should have them with you.
