One of the most famous restaurants in Kigali is Pili Pili, located in the hills of Kibagaga. From each table in the restaurant you have an amazing view over Kigali with the skyline in the distance. It’s a great place for a drink and sundowner as well, but arguably the best thing to order is the 1kg Barbecue Beef Filet, which comes with homemade Pili Pili Sauce.
Poivre Noir is another good example of a newly opened restaurant. Located in Kimihurura, the chef prepares a delicious variety of European and French cuisine, paired with local ingredients.
When it comes to wine selection, Brachetto Restaurant is the place to be in Kigali. Having been located in Kacyiru for years, it is the traveller’s as well as the local’s favourite.
